About the Mung Bean Patch – and its “gardener”. This site is designed and written by Pamela Storer aka Isabella Jones. I am Cymraeg [Eng. Trans: “Welsh”] from Britain. After a classical education at a Scholarship Grammar school, concentrating in English Grammar and Literature, History, Physical Geography, Biology, Text Analysis, with minors in physics and chemistry, I left school to enter the Vocation of Hospital Trained Nurse. I spent 4 yrs obtaining my Registered Nurse and midwife Certificates, and 12 working in Hospitals in UK and Australia. After working as a Senior Charge Sister at the Melbourne Childrens Hospital, I left to pursue academic studies. I obtained a place at Flinders University in South Australia to study Biology, eventually majoring in Microbiology, Biochemistry and Genetics, obtaining a First Class Honours and Masters of Science.
